MainStreet 407 Remodeling specializes in home improvement and insurance/casualty restoration work in the greater Maryland, Virginia, and District of Columbia regions.

Our principals and managers average over 30 years of experience in all aspects of development, design and construction of residential, commercial, industrial and retail projects.

No remodeling project is too large or too small for us. Our MainStreet 407 Remodeling team will provide the same excellent level of project supervision and customer care, regardless of the project’s size, scope or cost.

MainStreet 407 Remodeling is part of the 407 Associates, LLC family of companies, which provides, through its affiliated companies, commercial real estate development, design and construction, custom home building, design and engineering services and renewable energy development and construction services. The 407 family of companies enables the sharing of development, design and construction professionals and other resources, which provides greater material and subcontractor buying power, with cost savings passed on to our customers, and results in savings in time and administrative effort.

Team

Jeff Kozero, PE
Founder and CEO

Jeff graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with an engineering degree and is a licensed Professional Engineer. Over the course of his career, Jeff  has started and grown an architectural/engineering firm from a local DMV presence to a National Footprint. In addition, Jeff has started and managed various real estate development companies that have provided development, design and construction related services. These projects resulted in over 12 million constructed square feet and valued at over $2.9Billion. Jeff has now created 407 Associates to become a complete design/development/management company.

Joseph A. Boggs, FAIA, NCARB
Director of Professional Services

Joe is an undergraduate of Virginia Tech and has a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. The diversity of his work has been the subject of lectures at several universities as well as being the G.T. Ward visiting professor at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University. Mr. Boggs is a frequent presenter at AlA Symposiums and community functions. He has won numerous awards and has been published in national and international publications, as well as being elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects in 1995. The firm’s work has been the recipient of numerous architectural design awards. Mr. Boggs was a presenter at the 2016 AIA Convention in Philadelphia on an International Practice workshop.  His work was recently published in. ‘Honor’, a hardcover book commemorating and documenting the Uriah P. Levy Center and Jewish Chapel.

Karl Griffin
Director of Design

Karl A. Griffin has over 10 years of experience in the architecture and design industry. With a passion for creativity and a strong eye for detail, Karl has successfully led numerous design projects, ranging from residential to commercial buildings, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and functionality. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from The University of the District of Columbia and has continued to expand his knowledge and skills through various professional development programs and workshops. He is a member of several professional organizations, including AIA, NCARB and NOMA. Karl is dedicated to helping the company achieve its vision of becoming the leading provider of innovative and sustainable design solutions.

Brenda Duckett
Controller

Brenda Duckett has vast experience in the Finance and Managerial Sector. Brenda started her career as a Mortgage Customer Service personnel with Equifax, rising quickly to supervisor within 6 months of her assumption of duty and exiting the company as VP of Operations. She was the CEO of two startup companies, serving contractors and small businesses with office administration, accounting service, and permit processing.  Brenda has been a manager for the past 33 years, outlining her success as the Director of Finance and overseeing the Administrative offices for 407 Associates, LLC. She can be described as the engine room of our organization.

Mona Malik
President of MainStreet 407 Remodeling

A graduate of Neumann University with a degree in Organizational Leadership and minor in Accounting. Before coming to 407 Ms Malik was the CEO of a design/build  construction startup in Pennsylvania taking the company from its inception to profitable enterprise in less than a year. Since coming to 407 which she has been for over 8 years now she has brought in work and projects totaling millions. She is very driven and competent in marketing and bringing new projects to our firm and can handle any project any size.
